The building has been built by Jozef Stefan Szalay in 1863. In 2002, the building was entirely destroyed by fire and the Pump Room was moved to another location.
In 2008, the Mankowski family rebuilt the building and brought back the pump room to its historic location.
Today, at the Water Bar you can taste six mineral waters newed every month.
On the first floor, you can find temporary exbibitions of local artists that are renewed every month.
